Telegram Update
Performance, stability and new features under review with Apple.
Our first update has been approved and is now live on the iPhone App Store, with another update ready to go!
Update 1.01 added stability and performance enhancements to Telegram. Unfortunately it was not approved before the App Store went live on July 11th. Apple clearly had a lot of submissions to get through, but we were pleased to see this update approved last week.
Update 1.02 will be submitted later this week and will include:
• Email caching: once you type in an email it will continue to bring that email up as a suggested recipient for new messages.
• Contacts integration: you can now select email addresses directly from your contacts address book on the iPhone rather than typing them out each time.
• Improved file format for better email playback: Moving to an aifc format will fix some playback problems on non OSX platforms
Push notifications will be coming in a future release. Unfortunately we can not give a timeframe for this addition, as it is dependant on factors which are beyond our control. Stay tuned...
